Class 1 - This class delivers big on lower back stability and strength, then moves into some big rounds of Kaphlabhakti (bellows breath) with a Bramari (humming bee breath) polish.

Class 2 - This class uses the solid Water Element building blocks of belly and lower back strength as the foundation of release for the shoulders, neck and upper back that keeps tension high and the nervous system turned on.
This opening frees the pathways to explore Jalandara Banda, combining it with a building Kaphlabhakti (bellows breath) practice, breath holds and Bramari sequences for cooling, calming and slowing.

Class 3 - Strengthen the lower back as foundation then open into a shoulder flossing sequence to unhook the resistances that keep us small and shallow. The breath work sequence ranges into standing Nauli to awaken the full flow of the nervous system and its salty fluids, then an extended Nadi Shodhana sequence to shifts its gears down, reset it, and return us to the ease, grace and contentment that is our natural state.

These practices will range you over the lower back and belly as foundational aspects of the season, combining that solidity with an effective neck, shoulder and upper back softening that in turn enables the student to better explore the breathwork components.
Pranayama includes standing Nauli (belly churning), Kaphlabhaki (bellows breathing), Nadi Shodhana variations (alternate nostril breath), Brahamari ( Humming Bee Breath) and various breath hold techniques.
These practices invite you to step into the state of winter; of clarity, stillness and yield, resting in the greatness beneath winter’s surface.
